The Calgary summer camp where they  come home with five things you've been trying to teach.

Calgary's life-skills day camp for kids ages 8–12. Five days that feel like camp — outdoor games, group activities, real movement — and teach the things parents are trying to explain at home.

Summer 2026 · Glamorgan & Fish Creek Park · Eight sessions · Booking now.

WHY THIS CAMP IS DIFFERENT

All the camp stuff. Plus a few ideas that stick.

Most summer camps keep kids busy for a week. Rize Camp does that — outdoor games, group activities, real movement, real fun — and adds something most camps don't: a clear lesson woven into each day.

Body and health on Monday. Screens and attention on Tuesday. Money and how the world works on Wednesday. Problem solving on Thursday. Communication and relationships on Friday. Not as lectures. As conversations, games, and group activities your child will actually remember.

Same price as a regular Calgary day camp. Different week. Kids come home tired, happy, and a little more capable than they were on Monday.

It's the camp every parent has been looking for. Most just didn't know it existed yet.

Five Days. Five Things They'll Use Forever.

Each week follows the same five-day arc. One focused theme per day, taught the way kids actually take in new ideas — alongside their peers, in a camp setting, with a non-parent at the front of the room.

01

DAY ONE

Body & Health Connection

How the body and mind work together. Why sleep, food, and movement matter for energy and focus. The conversation about "why does breakfast matter" — answered in a way that doesn't sound like a parent.

04

DAY FOUR

Problem Solving

A structured way to handle hard things. Break the problem down. Try something. Learn from what didn't work. How to keep going when you don't have the answer — without freezing or giving up.

02

DAY TWO

Screens & Attention

What screens actually do to focus and mood. How attention works as a finite resource. How to use technology with intention — not just as a default. The conversation about phone limits, finally landing.

05

DAY FIVE

Communication & Relationships

How to disagree well. How to ask for what you need. How to listen in a way that actually changes the room. How to repair things after a mistake. Skills that matter in every room they'll ever walk into.

03

DAY THREE

Value, Money & How the World Works

Where money actually comes from. How value gets created. The difference between spending, saving, and building something. The money conversation that lands when it isn't coming from you.

WHY I BUILT THIS

The camp I wanted for my own kid.

I built Rize Camp because I was looking for something like it for my own kid — and it didn't exist. I found camps that were fun. I didn't find one that left kids with anything to take home beyond a craft and a sunburn.

Every parent has tried having these conversations at home — about screens, money, focus, hard situations. They don't always land at the dinner table. They land better when they're delivered the way kids are wired to learn: in a group, with peers, by someone who isn't their parent. That's what camp can do that home can't.

Rize Camp is small by design. Twenty kids per session — that's the cap, not the goal. I want to know every kid's name by Tuesday. I'll be on-site every day, every session. I want them all to really absorb the lessons and have fun doing it.
